Book Drops
There are three book drops outside the Barney Library to be used to return books when the library is closed. Books will be backdated to the last day the library was open so that book drop users will not incur fines for the period the library was closed.
Circulating Materials
The Barney Library is primarily a browsing library offering books, DVDs,
videos, CDs, magazines, and books-on-tape for circulation. Materials can
be ordered from the main library and also interlibrary loaned to meet
the borrower's needs. Deliveries are received at Barney every weekday.
Computers
There are five computers for public use at The Barney Library with Word
and Internet access. There is a one hour time limit on use, unless no
one is waiting. Appointments may be made in advance to assure the availability
of a machine. Call 677-6866 to reserve a machine or arrange for a computer
class. In the children's area, young people are invited to enjoy game computers.
Copy Machine
Copies may be made in the library for ten cents a page.
