Database spotlight: The Historical Hartford Courant contains full page coverage from issue 1, volume 1 of the newspaper starting in 1764 with coverage to December 31, 1922. Great for history projects, birthdays and genealogy.

Mar 12: Peter Fletcher, classical guitarist Peter Fletcher began studying the guitar at age 7 and received a Master’s degree from the Eastman School of Music. Mr. Fletcher tours nationally, has released two CDs, and has performed on PBS and in other television venues. Fletcher’s diverse repertoire spans from the Renaissance Period through the 20th century. 2pm.

Mar 26: Farmington Valley Chorus Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2005, the Farmington Valley Chorus chapter of Sweet Adelines International is a group of 45 women of diverse ages, backgrounds and professions who sing a cappella harmony. Chorus members hail from throughout Connecticut and western Massachusetts, and are a fun-loving and talented group of entertainers. Sponsored by The Friends of the Farmington Library. 2pm.
